PRIVACY NOTICE – GRANT AID

The personal information you provide on the Grant Aid form will be used in order to process your application (or your child’s application) for annual sports grant aid funding.  By completing the form, your application will also be considered as a nomination form for the Basingstoke and Deane Sports Awards which are organised by Basingstoke Sports Council.  It is necessary for you to provide this information to us so that we can process your application and provide the service you have requested.

  • We will share your information with Basingstoke Sports Council in order for your application to be judge and processed for both the Sports Grant Aid Scheme and Sports Awards.We have a Data Processing Agreement in place with them to cover the sharing of data.The Basingstoke Sports Council’s privacy policy regarding the Sports Awards is below.
  • If you have indicated that you would like to be considered for a Sports Scholarship then your information may also be shared with Basingstoke Sports Trust and Basingstoke and Deane Community Leisure Trust.
  • We will not disclose any information to other organisations without your consent unless we are required by law to do so or to prevent fraud.
  • Unless you have specifically indicated that you are happy for Basingstoke Sports Council to keep your details, your personal details will only be held as long as is needed for the purpose of the sports grant aid scheme and Basingstoke and Deane Sports Awards and in accordance with our retention policy.

The personal information you provide on the Sports Awards application will be used in order to process your nomination for the annual sports awards.  It is necessary for you to provide this information to us so that we can process your nomination and provide the service you have requested.

  • Your application form may also be forwarded to Energise Me for consideration for the Hampshire Sports Awards.Their privacy policy can be view here  
  • By completing this form you confirm that you have gained the permission from the nominee to disclose their personal details.
  • We will not disclose any information to other organisations without your consent unless we are required by law to do so or to prevent fraud.
