Cash4Clubs Grassroots Sports Grants - Opens for applications on October 1st 2026.

Delivered in partnership with Sported, this fund provides unrestricted grants to grassroots sports clubs, community groups, and registered charities across the UK. It focuses specifically on expanding adult (18+) participation in sport, particularly for underrepresented groups (women, racially diverse communities, disabled people, and LGBTQ+ groups).

Up to £2,000 in unrestricted funding is available covering equipment, coaching fees, venue hire, utilities, insurance, volunteer expenses, and kit.

Sport England – Movement Fund

Offers grants from £300 to £15,000 on a rolling basis to help physical activity and leisure providers close participation gaps in local communities. The focus is on people who face barriers to activity and projects designed to help them join in.

Projects can run for up to 12 months. here is no submission deadline. Apply at least 12 weeks before you want to start activity or spend any money. You’ll usually get a decision within six to eight weeks.
